Mental Health Therapist

Location: Bend, Oregon - Relocation assistance available

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Sign-on bonus: $7,500

Associate Therapists:  $70,000 - $78,000 a year (DOE)

Licensed Therapists: $80,000 - $85,000 a year (DOE)

Family Therapists:  $75,000 - $90,000 (DOE)

  • Opportunity for $4,000 annual raise for the first 2 years of employment.

Position Type: Full-Time (in person)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

 

About Us: 

Embark Behavioral Health operates a residential treatment facility in Bend, Oregon, specializing in helping adolescents aged 10-14 struggling with behavioral health issues. Our program fosters a supportive community environment where interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.

 

Mental Health Therapists at Embark Behavioral Health provide comprehensive guidance and treatment to adolescents and their families, employing multi-modal family system approaches to enhance and reinforce positive change. Our therapists advocate for the well-being of clients and families through thorough assessments, personalized treatment planning, continuous progress tracking, community-based support initiatives, and comprehensive aftercare planning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of up to six (6) clients to build strong rapport and facilitate effective treatment
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Complete treatment planning and insurance documentation
  • Manage cases and collaborate with the treatment team
  • Handle crisis management and de-escalation
  • Participate in therapeutic on-call rotation

Qualifications

  • Oregon Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) OR Registered with the Oregon board as an Associate/Intern, working towards licensure
  • Ability to pass a state background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Desire to develop expertise in individual, family, and group therapy

  • Paid training program (Mastery) for years one through three of tenure. Salary is increased based on completion of the three modules during this time. Convert to Merit increases after that three year time frame. 4K, 4K and 5K 
  • CEU allowance starting in year two - $1500
  • Paid license fees for new or renewals. 
  • Covered under Embark professional liability insurance for practice at Embark including tail coverage- not external coverage required
