Residential Supervisor

 

We are hiring for all three shifts:

1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

3rd shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am  

 

Full time, Onsite     

 

Pay rate: $27-$28 per hour DOE

Join us at Embark at our Short-term Residential Treatment Program in San Martin, where Behavioral Health Associates offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families.

 

Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 – 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues. Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor/coach/train our Behavioral Health Associates
  • Ensure healthy program culture and norms
  • Minimize risks and maintain resident and staff safety
  • Build upon and optimize systems and processes
  • Create and present trainings to residential counselors
  • Ensure room searches are completed and documented
  • Maintain attendance record
  • Maintain staffing ratios
  • Ensure client requests are timely responded to
  • Ensure JCAHO guideline documentation is timely completed
  • Ensure house achieves “tour ready” status
  • Perform Fire /earthquake drills monthly
  • Develop schedule for staffing monthly
  • Attend treatment meetings weekly/documentation
  • Housekeeping items as needed (dish washing, laundry, etc.)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred, but not required. 
  • 21+ years of age or older
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships.
  • Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.
  • Skilled in de-escalating agitated students.
  • Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
