Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000, with bonus potential (DOE)

Location: 370 N Wiget Ln Ste 100, Walnut Creek, CA (On-site)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

 

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Licensed Clinic Director to lead and cultivate a strong, supportive culture in our recently opened IOP/PHP clinic in Walnut Creek, CA, which launched in June 2024. Ideal candidates bring proven leadership experience in outpatient settings, a results-driven approach, and a passion for connecting with families.

Responsibilities

· Lead a team of five clinicians, one Office Manager, and one Clinical Support Staff with compassion, while overseeing outcome measure collection, providing effective crisis management support, and ensuring accurate documentation practices

· Build collaborative relationships with the onsite treatment team, clients, and parents to foster a supportive and client-focused care approach.

· Drive program compliance and collaborate with staff, admissions, enrollment, and leadership to raise operational standards and surpass regulatory requirements.

· Play a key role in recruiting and retaining exceptional clinical talent, building a team that thrives on our mission.

· Promote a culture of engagement and satisfaction, maintaining positive eNPS scores and fostering a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

· Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree and licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent, with the ability to practice therapy in California.

· Clinical supervision experience: Ability to provide supervision to unlicensed clinicians.

· Leadership experience: At least three years of experience managing or directing a clinical team, including licensed or associate therapists.

· Therapeutic expertise: Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to high-acuity populations, preferably in inpatient, residential, or IOP/PHP settings, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor client progress.
