Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and Certified Recreational Therapist to join our team in Greeley, CO. As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our therapeutic programs, utilizing recreational activities to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being among our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate recreational therapy programs tailored to individual client needs.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on therapeutic goals.
  • Lead group therapy sessions using a variety of recreational activities.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, direct care staff, and medical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain accurate client records.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients, encouraging participation and skill development.

Qualifications

  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) – Issued by the NCTRC 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or related field (master’s preferred).
  • Experience working in behavioral health or similar settings preferred.
  • Must have a valid State of Colorado Driver's License
  • Minimum of 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass pre-employment federal and state background, fingerprints, and drug screen
