Graduate Clinical Internship (Unpaid)

Embark Behavioral Health Bend is seeking passionate graduate-level clinical interns to join our team. This internship offers direct, hands-on clinical experience working with youth (ages 10–14) in a residential treatment setting. Interns receive supervision and training in:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
working with youth with diagnoses such as mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, etc
Family systems work
Crisis intervention- CPI training
Recreational therapy
Interns work within a collaborative clinical team of 4 full-time clinicians and 1–2 interns, with opportunities for co-therapy and peer consultation.
Embark Behavioral Health Bend supports preteens experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. We provide care in a family-style home environment, encouraging connection, personal growth, and healing.

Start Dates: Rolling (based on academic calendar)
π Location: Bend, Oregon (on-site)
π Schedule: Flexible, 16–24 hrs/week (based on academic needs)
πΈ Compensation: Unpaid – for academic credit
β Conduct individual, group, and family therapy
β Lead multiple weekly group sessions
β Complete clinical documentation (notes, assessments, treatment plans)
β Participate in treatment team meetings
β Perform diagnostic assessments
β Support family communication and discharge planning
β Co-lead family workshops (as needed)

Currently enrolled in a Master’s program (Counseling, MFT, Social Work, or related)
β
Preferably in 2nd year of program
β
Prior experience working with youth
β
Strong interest in working with ages 10–14
β
Able to pass background check & drug screening
β
2–3 professional or academic references
