Why People Choose to Work at Embark Behavioral Health (and you should too)
Insurance Specialists are responsible for verifying client insurance benefits and ensuring a seamless admissions process by providing timely and accurate benefit details. Reporting to the Admissions Manager, they play a crucial role in obtaining and communicating benefit information, including deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, coinsurance, copays, and in-network or out-of-network coverage.
This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare insurance and benefits, as well as the ability to interpret policy details accurately. Insurance Specialists act as liaisons between insurance companies and the admissions team, ensuring that eligibility and benefits are secured for all levels of care that Embark offers. They must work efficiently to provide real-time updates to Admissions Coordinators, helping to facilitate timely decisions for prospective clients.
Embark Behavioral Health offers a Comprehensive Benefit Program that includes a medical insurance option with a generous company contribution towards a high deductible plan, dental insurance, vision insurance, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, employer paid long-term disability, 401K with company matching, an Employee Assistance Plan, paid Parental Leave after one year, and other ancillary insurance options. We have Company Paid Holidays (7) plus paid time off.
Embark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Embark is committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience it offers through the diversity of its employees and community. Embark seeks to recruit and support a broadly diverse staff who will contribute to the organization's excellence, diversity of viewpoints and experiences, and relevance in a global society. LGBTQ+ and BIPOC are encouraged to apply.
