  • 6 AM - 4 PM
  • 1 PM - 11 PM 
  • 8 PM - 6 AM

At Embark Behavioral Health in White Haven, our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)—make a life-changing difference in the lives of teenage girls who need empathy, structure, and hope. In this role, you’ll foster a safe and supportive environment where teens can reconnect with themselves, their families, and their future. Through our proven therapeutic model, you’ll help clients build resilience, practice coping skills, and navigate everyday life with more confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure client emotional and physical safety at all times
  • Support teens through emotional or behavioral crises using de-escalation techniques
  • Help implement treatment plans in coordination with clinical staff
  • Engage clients in daily living activities, skill-building exercises, and recreational programming (art, music, yoga, fitness, and more)
  • Document progress and participate in team meetings to align on care strategies
  • Model healthy boundaries and trusting relationships

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in psychology or related field preferred)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in residential, EMT, CNA, or similar caregiving roles preferred
  • Able to pass background checks and drug screening
  • Strong communication, patience, and relational skills
  • Ability to remain calm, supportive, and present in high-stress moments
