Location: 5842 TN - 30 Benton, Tennessee 37307 

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year based on experience

Schedule: 40 hour work week Monday-Friday

Nestled in the scenic mountains of Benton, Tennessee, along the Hiwassee River, our residential treatment center offers a peaceful, nature-based setting ideal for healing. We serve male adolescents ages 12–17 in a family-style lodge designed to foster safety, comfort, and meaningful connection.

 

Our 55-acre campus acts as an extended classroom, offering experiential therapies such as biking, hiking, swimming, and equine therapy. As a Primary Therapist, you’ll develop and implement individualized treatment plans while working closely with an experienced Clinical Director, Executive Director, and a dedicated team of residential staff. Together, we help young people and their families achieve lasting emotional wellness.

Responsibilities

What We Offer:

  • Embrace a collaborative approach with weekly 1:1s, group supervision, and treatment team meetings.
  • Plan, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans for client-centered care.
  • Conduct family, group, and 1:1 therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to drive therapeutic progress.
  • Maintain regular communication with families, providing coaching and support.
  • Ensure timely documentation, adherence to treatment standards, and oversee program completion and discharge plans.
  • Manageable caseloads that allow for building strong, meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Access professional growth opportunities through cutting-edge strategies, training, and support from nationally recognized leaders.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a license in one of the following disciplines, Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers
  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy
  • Preferred - One year of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required
  • Ability to pass a state background check, fingerprints and drug screen
  • Drivers license in good standing
