Are you an experienced Learning & Development leader with a passion for transformational training, cross-functional collaboration, and mission-driven innovation? Do you thrive in environments where your work directly impacts lives and shapes the future of behavioral health?

At Embark Behavioral Health, we’re on a mission to reverse the trends of adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide. As a national leader in youth mental health, we offer a full continuum of care and we’re looking for a Director of Learning & Clinical Integration to elevate our training programs and unify best practices across our nationwide network.

This is more than a leadership role, it’s an opportunity to build a world-class learning ecosystem that empowers teams, enhances outcomes, and drives meaningful change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Learning Strategy: Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based training programs for multidisciplinary teams. Build a robust CEU platform with at least 3 accredited courses per quarter and lead APA accreditation efforts.
  • Drive Clinical Integration: Align therapeutic and operational practices across all sites through strategic integration initiatives. Conduct biannual audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal benchmarks.
  • Champion Collaboration: Act as the bridge between learning, clinical, operations, and compliance teams. Mentor staff, support professional growth, and ensure alignment with our mission and values.
  • Foster Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with universities, hospitals, and community organizations to strengthen talent pipelines and referral networks.
  • Measure & Improve: Use data to evaluate training effectiveness, improve knowledge retention, and reduce integration-related errors by 90% annually. Lead monthly progress reviews to track success.
  • Lead Change: Manage multiple training and integration projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term impact.
  • Inspire & Represent: Develop compelling training materials, deliver impactful presentations, and represent Embark at industry conferences to amplify our voice and thought leadership.
  • Apply Behavioral Health Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of youth mental health, crisis response, and risk management to support operational excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Program Design
  • Proven success with APA accreditation and CEU program development
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based practices, adult learning theory, and curriculum design
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • A deep commitment to youth mental health, professional development, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in adolescent/young adult a plus

Benefits

  • Access to cutting-edge training and leadership development
  • Opportunity to heal generations by supporting adolescents and their families
  • Work alongside nationally recognized leaders in behavioral health
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid parental leave, and a robust Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • A culture that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and purpose-driven work
