Embark Behavioral Health is hiring an experienced behavioral health outreach professional to help families access life-changing adolescent mental health care. As the Director of Clinical Partnerships, you’ll focus on building referral relationships with hospitals, schools, and mental health providers to support enrollment for our Specialty  programs.

 

The Director of Clinical Partnerships (DCP) drives referral development to meet enrollment goals, collaborating with admissions and digital marketing on sales, marketing, communications, and PR within a defined territory. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the DCP ensures alignment with company standards and partners closely with admissions and operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Referral Growth:
    Build and nurture relationships with key referral sources including therapists, psychiatrists, educational consultants, hospitals, schools, and community organizations to meet and exceed program enrollment goals.
  • Lead Business Development Strategy:
    Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, and Program Operations to execute high-impact outreach campaigns, events, and tours that elevate brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Engage in High-Touch Outreach:
    Conduct weekly meetings (virtual or in-person), calls, emails, and social media engagement to maintain strong connections with referral partners and community stakeholders.
  • Support Admissions & Conversion:
    Respond to initial inquiries from families and professionals, conduct pre-admission assessments, and support the admissions team in converting leads into enrollments.
  • Track & Report Performance:
    Use Salesforce to log outreach activities, monitor lead quality, and report on key performance metrics. Develop annual marketing plans with clear goals and territory strategies.
  • Stay Informed & Relevant:
    Keep up with the latest trends in behavioral health, mental health treatment, and adolescent care to ensure outreach efforts are informed, compassionate, and effective.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, sales, or business development

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, or related field

  • Referral Relationship Management: Cultivates trust-based relationships with referral sources to drive consistent lead generation and client admissions.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Identifies and qualifies prospective clients using financial and clinical criteria to meet monthly targets.
  • Strategic Outreach: Executes impactful outreach strategies including meetings, tours, events, and digital engagement aligned with program goals.
  • Sales & Marketing Expertise: Utilizes sales techniques and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, social media) to promote services and convert leads.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Analyzes outreach and admissions data to refine tactics and improve performance.
  • Effective Communication: Delivers clear, persuasive messaging tailored to diverse audiences including families, referral partners, and internal teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with admissions, program leadership, and marketing to align efforts and achieve enrollment goals.
  • Community Engagement: Represents the organization professionally as a trusted behavioral health resource in the community.
  • Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Responds to feedback, engages in ongoing training, and evolves strategies based on market trends.
  • Results-Oriented: Meets or exceeds performance metrics, demonstrating accountability for lead conversion and quarterly goals.
