Our Adolescent Residential Treatment Center in Greeley, CO, located just outside of Denver, is hiring an Executive Director.

This program is serving adolescents experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, and other mental health issues. Clients at our Residential Treatment Center live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are key. Our treatment center staff offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.

 

As an Executive Director, you will be supported by an experienced Leadership Team, including our Program Director, Clinical Director, and Administrative Team, all focused on the mission of facilitating lasting positive change for young people and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize quality of care to employees, clients, families, and referents by ensuring staff are properly trained and providing cutting-edge interventions, prevention, education, communication, engagement, and measurable outcomes.
  • Hire and develop a large and cohesive team. 
  • Marketing / Outreach
  • Manage $5-$10 million budget.
  • Build and optimize systems and processes.
  • Execute Embark's established policies and procedures.
  • Build and improve upon client treatment outcomes for high acuity clientele.
  • Build referral and licensing / compliance relationships.
  • Obtain and maintain in-network contract with various insurance providers.
  • Establish or improve customer engagement / relations systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, CPS, Juvenile courts, School Districts, and other community entities.
  • Stay in compliance with residential safety and compliance guidelines, consistent with CO regulation.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field preference is a Masters in behavioral health.
  • 3 + years of experience working in behavioral health organizations.
  • Leadership experience in a Residential Treatment program/clinic setting or similar.
  • Experience with programming/operations side and leading a large team.
  • Desire to facilitate staff and client growth through a team approach.
  • Ability to plan and execute a multi-facility budget (5-10 Million)
  • Ability to provide guidance to clinical director and staff on planning, implementation, and adjustment on the course of treatment for youth, as required.
  • Knowledgeable about data driven practices, ability to analyze and execute with results.
  • Knowledge of CO state laws surrounding documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and working with government agencies and vendors
  • Understand and maintain clear legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Ability to pass a state background check.

Preferred

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in mental health field preferred
  • 2 years of experience in acute care or residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities preferred.
  • Experience with for-profit organizations.
  • Experience recruiting and developing clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Familiarity with CO licensure requirement for residential programs
  • Experienced in a matrix organization (i.e., running a program with centralized supports and services)
  • Experienced with adolescents and teens in a mental health environment.
