Admissions Coordinator - Part-Time

White Haven, PA


Starting Hourly Pay: $27.00 an hour

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated Admissions Counselor with strong sales ability. You will guide families through the admissions process, support census growth, and build meaningful relationships with referral partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Client Admissions & Guidance

    • Conduct consultations, intake assessments, and make placement recommendations.
    • Provide clear information on program options, costs, and admissions requirements.
    • Submit insurance verifications and authorizations.
    • Deliver a high-quality, supportive experience to families throughout the process.

    Sales, Marketing & Referral Development

    • Generate and nurture leads to support census and revenue goals.
    • Build relationships with referral partners, mental health providers, and treatment facilities.
    • Represent Embark programs and communicate their value to families and partners.
    • Participate in marketing/outreach activities as needed.

    Operations & Compliance

    • Manage and process admissions efficiently and accurately.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Maintain detailed admissions records and track key performance indicators.
    • Answer calls for specialty programs with a goal of <8% missed-call rate.

    Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with admissions, clinical, marketing, revenue cycle, and operations teams.
    • Support on-site teams with lead management and enrollment goals.
    • Engage in ongoing training and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in behavioral health.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health services, insurance processes, and referral networks.

 

Preferred Skills:

  •  Knowledgeable of industry trends, marketing strategies, and consumer psychology.
  • Reading, writing and comprehension.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to forge meaningful connections with clients.
  • Knowledgeable of private pay and insurance funded reimbursement of care.
  • Knowledgeable of treatment interventions offered and performed.
  • Knowledgeable of diagnoses and familiarity with level of care criterion.
