At Embark Behavioral Health, our mission is to create joy and heal generations. We support a nationwide network of programs serving preteens, teens, and young adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our Talent Acquisition team plays a crucial role in this work — helping us hire compassionate, high‑impact team members across the United States.

This is an incredible opportunity for a recruiter who brings national recruiting experience, loves driving results, and wants to grow with an organization that truly changes lives.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers across the country to understand role needs, team culture, and hiring priorities.
  • Lead full‑cycle recruiting for roles nationwide, from sourcing and outreach to offer acceptance.
  • Design and execute national sourcing strategies using talent intelligence, social recruiting, market mapping, and proactive pipeline development.
  • Champion DEI‑focused recruiting, ensuring inclusive sourcing practices and equitable candidate experiences.
  • Screen and assess candidates through resume review, phone screens, and behavioral interviews; provide concise, high‑quality candidate summaries to hiring managers.
  • Act as a talent advisor, guiding Hiring Managers on best practices, consistent selection processes, and compliance with EEO, ADA, and all employment laws.
  • Create compelling candidate communication that highlights our mission, culture, benefits, growth paths, and national footprint.
  • Engage communities and talent networks through job fairs, LinkedIn, job boards, professional groups, universities, and community partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in our ATS and ensure a streamlined, transparent hiring experience.
  • Collaborate closely with other Recruiters and HR partners to drive consistency, learning, and hiring excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including national‑level recruiting (required).
  • Experience recruiting in behavioral health, healthcare, or other specialized clinical fields (required).
  • Proven ability to build recruiting strategies, develop pipelines, and hire for multiple states and markets.
  • Strong grasp of ATS platforms, sourcing tools, social media recruiting, Boolean search, and talent market trends.
  • A passion for identifying A‑players and aligning talent strategy with organizational goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills — professional, clear, warm, and timely across email, phone, and written communication.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence, partner, and guide Hiring Managers nationwide.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • A growth‑oriented, coachable spirit and openness to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and sound judgment.
