Do you bring emotional awareness, strong boundaries, and a desire to support healing in high-acuity environments? Are you calm under pressure and committed to showing up with purpose? If so, Embark at Springville invites you to join our overnight team as an Overnight Life Coach, a key role in our trauma-informed, residential treatment program for adolescent girls.

Nestled in the serene beauty of Hobble Creek Canyon, Embark at Springville is more than a treatment center—we’re a healing community. We specialize in helping girls ages 12–17 navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. Our approach is family-centered, evidence-based, and deeply relational.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the transition from evening routines to bedtime.
  • Conduct room checks, monitor emotional regulation, and respond to any safety incidents.
  • Intervene early and effectively during emotional or physical escalations.
  • Maintain firm boundaries and model emotionally regulated behavior.
  • Communicate key observations to the treatment team.
  • Document overnight events thoroughly and consistently.
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized environment.
  • Participate in staff and house bonding activities.
  • Maintain professional boundaries while building therapeutic rapport.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential, or crisis settings.

  • Comfortable responding to high-acuity behaviors, including verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation.

  • Strong emotional regulation and boundary-setting skills.

  • Willingness to learn! We understand not everyone has direct experience, but if you are skilled at boundaries, safety, and passionate about adolescent mental health, we encourage you to apply!

Required:

  • 21+ years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.

Benefits

  • Access to an established Mastery Program that offers professional and financial opportunities for professional growth.
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.
  • Paid Parental Leave – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.
  • Life & Disability Coverage – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.
  • 401(k) with Company Match – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.
  • PTO & Holidays – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.
