Full-time onsite position

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Location:  5401 W. Ninth Street Greeley, Colorado 80634

 

 

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to help us drive adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide rates to all-time lows at our Residential program in Greeley, CO. Our ideal candidate has a heart for bringing about systemic change in struggling families alongside colleagues who value empathy, trust, service, growth, and meaningful results.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy: Lead therapeutic sessions using trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities that support emotional growth and relational healing.
  • Manage a Personalized Caseload: Provide high-quality, individualized care to a focused caseload of up to 6 clients, allowing for deep therapeutic relationships and consistent family engagement.
  • Conduct Assessments & Treatment Planning: Perform biopsychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, and develop dynamic treatment plans tailored to each adolescent’s unique needs and progress.
  • Collaborate in Integrated Care: Partner with a multidisciplinary team—including therapists, medical providers, nurses, and residential staff—to deliver holistic, coordinated care.
  • Engage Families in the Healing Process: Maintain consistent communication with caregivers, offering coaching, support, and involvement in programming to strengthen family systems.
  • Maintain Clinical Excellence: Ensure timely and thorough documentation, uphold treatment standards, and support discharge planning with a focus on continuity of care.
  • Support a Safe, Therapeutic Environment: Monitor student behavior, maintain healthy boundaries, and contribute to a structured, relational setting that promotes emotional safety and growth.
  • Participate in Rotating On-Call Support: Serve as on-call therapist in a rotation, providing guidance and crisis support as needed, including occasional evening availability.
 

Qualifications

 

  • Active License in the state of CO (LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Education: Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
  • Age: 21+ years of age or older
  • Skills: Assessment skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
  • Experience: Min of 2 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
  • Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Colorado state laws.
