Embark at Springville is seeking Overnight Behavioral Health Associates to join our trauma‑informed residential program for adolescent girls (ages 12–17). In this role, you’ll provide direct support in a high‑acuity environment—helping clients regulate emotions, maintain safety, and engage in therapeutic routines. You’ll collaborate with therapists and nurses, model healthy boundaries, and be a steady presence for teens working through trauma, anxiety, depression, and family challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Daily routines: Support students in maintaining structured evening and overnight routines with consistency and encouragement.
  • Crisis intervention: Use verbal de‑escalation techniques to manage emotional or behavioral escalations; apply approved physical interventions (holds/restraints) when clinically necessary to ensure safety.

  • Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.

  • Treatment alignment: Ensure student progress aligns with individualized treatment plans developed by therapists.
  • Positive modeling: Model constructive behaviors and attitudes, reinforcing a healthy environment for clients.
  • Documentation: Maintain consistent, thorough records of client interactions, incidents, and progress.
  • Team engagement: Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork and community cohesion.
  • Housekeeping tasks: Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean, organized living space.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential, or crisis settings.

  • Comfortable responding to high-acuity behaviors, including verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation.

  • Strong emotional regulation and boundary-setting skills.

  • Willingness to learn! We understand not everyone has direct experience, but if you are skilled at boundaries, safety, and passionate about adolescent mental health, we encourage you to apply!

Required:

  • 21+ years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.

Benefits

  • RBT Certification Benefit: $1/hour pay increase for current RBT certification, or free training provided to obtain certification.
  • Paid Mastery Program: Access to a 2-year structured training program offering an incremental pay increase as you complete each tier.
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.
  • Paid Parental Leave – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.
  • Life & Disability Coverage – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.
  • 401(k) with Company Match – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.
  • PTO & Holidays – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.
