Embark at Hurricane – Stabilization and Assessment is hiring PRN Behavioral Health Associates to support adolescent boys (ages 12–17) in a residential setting. You’ll help clients with daily routines, emotional regulation, life skills, safety, and structured programming, while working alongside therapists and nurses to ensure treatment goals are met. Our program provides a home‑like environment for highly acute teens and their families, focusing on stabilization, assessment, and family‑centered healing.
Crisis intervention: Use verbal de‑escalation techniques to manage emotional or behavioral escalations; apply approved physical interventions (holds/restraints) when clinically necessary to ensure safety.
Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.
What we are looking for:
High‑acuity response: Comfortable managing verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation in a residential setting.
Emotional regulation: Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and set firm, healthy boundaries.
Growth mindset: Willingness to learn and grow; candidates with strong boundary‑setting and passion for adolescent mental health are encouraged to apply, even without direct experience!
Adolescent experience: Background working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential, or crisis environments preferred.
